  • The appraisal of the ancient jade is always a perplexing problem in the jewelry appraisal.The market price of the ancient jade is mainly determined on the market comparison approach.The purchase price of the ancient jade in the auction market is the main source of appraisal data of the ancient jade.The auction knock-down prices and appraisals of the ancient jade Bi are collected from more than forty domestic auction companies in recent years.Based on analysing the purchase prices and appraisals of the ancient jade Bi with different materials and crafts in different periods from the auctions, it is obtained that the influence factors on the pirce are the period, shape, craft and material, providing some ideas for the appraisal of the ancient jade Bi.
