Personalized Design of Movable Structure Jewelry Based on 3D Printing Technique

  • This paper records the application of flexible structure in jewelry production of creative jewelry personalized design, including the whole process from 3D printing modeling and printing to the final jewelry product. Two of the four jewelry products described in the paper are printed with 3D metal, and the other two are printed with Polyjet colour resin. The aim of this paper is to make two different styles of creative jewelry based on the same structure by using two materials with different colours and textures, silver and resin. The shape of the flexible structure was also designed according to the themes of the jewelry. The focus of the 3D modeling process was to modify the scale shape of the basic cells and adjust them to the appropriate size and angle. While describing the process of jewelry making, this paper also discusses the solutions of some unexpected situations in the 3D printing process. Finally, some creative 3D printing jewelry with different themes will be presented.
