Identification Characteristics of a Sort of New Treated Nephrite

The composite nephrite and its identification characteristics are firstly reported in the article.The samples are identified by using the conventional gemmological test,infrared spectrum and XRF analysis.The results show that the colour at the interface between the surface part and the main body part of the samples is obvious in the appearance,with the obvious cohesive marks.Many wax and air bubbles can be seen in the composite part.The infrared spectra of the two sites at the composite surface are completely different.X-ray fluorescence spectrum shows that the surface part has no Ca spectrum,and the main body part contains a lot of Ca.The sample is considered as the dyeing composite stone with serpentine and nephrite acorrding to the testing results.
