REE Analysis of Thermoluminescent Fluorite

More Information
  • Received Date: July 17, 2003
  • REE analysis is adopted to study the characteristics of REE of fluorites in different colours. The results show that the green fluorite with thermoluminescence is rich in Y (33.7×10-6~57.5×10-6), Ce (17.1×10-653.1×10-6), La (11.30×10-6~9.46×10-6), Nd (7.17×10-6~8.87×10-6), Dy (4.34×10-6~7.00×10-6), Gd (2.37×10-6~5.12×10-6). The purple fluortie is poor in the six rare earth elements. This is why the luminescence is weak. But the contents of the six kinds of rare earth element are very low in the fluorite without thermoluminescence are very low.
