Current Miaozu’s Jewelry and Making Technology in Guizhou Province,China

The current Miaozu's jewelry of Guizhou Province shows some new characters.The traditional silver jewelry is replaced mostly by copper jewelry,and Miaozu's daily ornaments in hair are mainly made of plastic or silk spinning flower matched with wooden or metallic comb.Now Miaozu's crafts are made in various shaped object not only for wearing but also for hanging or showing.As the change of the jewelry material,a lot of current(Miaozu's) jewelry are not hand-made entirely,and the "casting" technology has been used widely in jewelry making.
