Characteristics of Kinds of Mineral Assemblage of“Honglvbao”

Recently，the author in his routine gem testing，repeatedly found chrome micarubies in zoisite－rubies and the appearance of this two types of jade are very similar，so in order to distinguish this two types，the author collected many samples.By using Fourier transform infrared spectrometer，QUANT’X fluorescence energy spectrometer，as well as conventional testing methods，the author found the difference both in their appearances，structures and components.In addition，according to other relevant research findings，there are jades complex which contain ruby，kyanite and chlorite though in appearance look like“honglvbao”.Therefore，those“honglvbao”in market may be completely different from real“honglvbao”and should be tested with equipments to be certain about their components.
