Interactivity in the Field of Jewelry Design—Based on Lacan's Mirror Stage Theory

Based on the diversified background of interpersonal interaction in the current era, in the field of artistic creation, interactive design is not only a reliable solution to the problems of interpersonal interaction, but also a more vivid expression of the form of interpersonal interaction, which can inspire design and creation. Taking the interactive design in the field of art design as the research object, this paper discussed it from three aspects including material, form and function, and excavated the basic ways of interactive design, and applied it in jewelry design. The interactive jewelry design studied in this paper is based on the theory of psychoanalysis, a branch of psychology. The study discussed how to use Lacan's mirror stage theory to support interactive jewelry design, use jewelry as a medium to reflect the current social problems and their essence, and artistically express the design theme through the form of jewelry, striving to dynamically show the essence of interpersonal interaction targeted by the theme. This study aims to broaden the functionality of jewelry and innovate the form of interactive jewelry design under the new theme of interpersonal interaction.
