Applying the Graphic Feature of the Chinese Character "Yang" in Jewelry Design

Chinese characters have distinct graphic features. After the Chinese characters are processed graphically, the form and meaning are subtly transformed, and at the same time, the emotions beyond the meaning of the words are conveyed, resulting in a rich visual language. The authors analyzed the expression of meaning with form, which is the expression of Chinese characters in jewelry design, and the aesthetic commonalities between the Chinese characters and jewelry design. By decomposing the strokes and structure of Chinese characters and recombining them with blocks, surfaces and bodies, the authors finally completed the transformation from Chinese characters into graphics and applied the Chinese character "Yang" (means sheep or goat) graphically in jewelry design to show the design thought of Chinese character graphics in jewelry design.
