Reuse of Waste in Jewelry Design

Aiming at the problems of environmental pollution and sustainable economic development, this article analyzes the waste production around the world and the negative impact of waste disposal on the environment and economy, and concludes that waste should be reused. Through the experience gained from existing waste design works, it is found that the waste recycling rate is low. In order to raise everyone's awareness of saving resources, the team designed a series of jewelry using the waste material, proposed the concept design of waste exhibition hall, and used the peel, cigarette butts, coffee grounds and other daily neglected waste to build the exhibition hall. The design process mainly includes early research, site investigation, material collection and exploration, concept derivation, design sketches, model making, etc. Finally, the group's reflection and summary of the entire project are introduced. In addition, the team is devoted to finding the simple processing and reuse methods of waste, hoping to teach people the simplest production process, so that people will become interested in waste recycling. In the end, everyone is a designer, which will greatly improve the utilization of waste and achieves the goal of sustainable development.
