Application of Rapid Prototyping in Jewelry Manufacturing

摘要: 快速成形技术是一种先进的制造技术。介绍了快速成形技术的原理与方法以及在首饰制造业中的应用情况;结合实际的首饰制作过程,分析了快速成形技术存在的问题,提出了该技术在首饰行业的研究方向。只有不断地深入研究并改进快速成形机的工艺,才能使其在首饰制造业中得到更广泛、更深入的应用,给传统的首饰制作工艺带来新的突破。

Abstract: Rapid Prototyping(RP) is an advanced manufacture technology.In the paper the principles and methods of RP and the application in jewelry manufacturing are introduced.The problems are analysed with the practical operational process of RP and the research direction is put forward.The RP will be widely applied to jewelry manufacturing and bring the new breakthrough on the traditional jewelry fabrication by further studying and improving RP technique.
