Mineralogy Research on Mulan Stone from Weichang County, Hebei Province

摘要: 木兰石是产于河北省围场县朝阳湾的一种图章石。采用电子探针、X射线粉晶衍射、红外光谱和扫描电镜等测试手段对最具代表性的木兰石样品进行了研究。结果表明,木兰石主要为绿泥石质叶蜡石岩和硬水铝石质叶蜡石岩,以绿泥石质叶蜡石岩为主。绿泥石质叶蜡石岩中的主要矿物为叶蜡石,其次为绿泥石和绢云母,而硬水铝石质叶蜡石岩中的主要矿物为叶蜡石,其次为硬水铝石。木兰石中还有少量的伊利石、高岭石、勃姆石和石英。木兰石中的叶蜡石主要为三斜叶蜡石。

Abstract: Mulan Stone is a kind of seal stones from Chaoyangwan,Weichang County,Hebei Province.Mulan Stone has been studied using EPMA,XRD,SEM and IR.The results show that chlorite- pyrophyllite rock and diaspore- pyrophyllite rock are the two main types of Mulan Stone.Pyrophyllite is the dorminantmineral and chlorite and sericite are the secondary in chlorite-pyrophyllite rock,while pyrophyllite is the dorminant and diaspore is the secondary in diaspore- pyrophyllite rock.In addition,there is a small amount of illite,kaolinite,boehmite and quartz in Mulan Stone.The main polytype of pyrophyllite is 1Tc.
