Tentative Experiment of Brown Diamond under HTHP Treatment

  • 摘要: 以Nova钻石、GE POL钻石和灰色钻石为例,从钻石晶格缺陷的角度讨论高温高压(HTHP)处理钻石的改色机理;在高温高压处理褐色钻石的研究基础上,利用静压触媒法合成设备,对褐色钻石样品进行高温高压处理的实验探索,并对实验前、后的样品进行红外光谱、激光拉曼光谱特征分析,初步探讨其颜色改变的原因,为今后的实验提供一定的参考。
    Abstract: In the paper,taking the Nova diamond,GE POL diamond and gray diamond for example,the mechanism of improving colour on diamond is disscussed from the angle of defect in crystal lattice.The tentative experiments of brown diamond samples under HTHP treatment are developed by using the synthetic equipment.The characteristics of IR and Raman spectra of brown diamond samples before and after HTHP treatment are also tested.The mechanism of improving colour is preliminarily analysed in order to offer more reference informations for the futher experiments of HTHP treatment.
