A Quantitative Analysis on Quality Grading of Jadeite Jade

摘要: 由于翡翠的种类多和不可破坏的特点,在对翡翠品质进行分级时多采用目测估计法。用显微分光光度计测量样品的光谱反射率和透过率时,因样品大小、厚度和结构的差别使其结果有差异,因而未能广泛用于翡翠的品质分级。以翡翠作为混浊媒质建立数学模型,采用混浊媒质的库贝尔卡-芒克近似理论定理分析和计算其漫反射系数(S)、吸收系数(K)及材料无限厚度的光谱反射系数(R∞)量值来表征翡翠的颜色和透明度,从而进行翡翠品质的定量分析。其结果与目视评价基本符合,为翡翠品质分级的标准化工作提供了可行的方法。Abstract: Appraisal for the quality grading of jadeite jade is observed by the visual measurement because of the variety and nondestructive characteristics of jadeite jade. The spectral reflectance and translucency of the samples tested by the microspectrophotometer could not be widely used for the quality grading of jadeite jade with different size, thickness and structure. A mathematical model of jadeite jade as a turbid media is established,and the coefficients of scatter (S), absorption (K) and reflectivity (R∞)(infinite thickness of sample), which represent the colour and transparency of jadeite jade, are analysed and calculated by Kubelka-Munk theorem. The results of the quantitative analysis are accorded with the observation by the visual measurement for the quality grading of jadeite jade.
