Study on Gemmology of Non-Pyrophyllite-Type Qingtian Stone from Zhejiang Province

摘要: 浙江青田石究竟属叶蜡石型还是属非叶蜡石型?针对这一争议问题,采用X射线粉晶衍射、红外吸收光谱、扫描电子显微镜和差热等测试分析方法对青田石进行了研究。结果表明,青田石中多数品种属叶蜡石型,新发现有迪开石型、伊利石型和绢云母型等非叶蜡石型品种。就非叶蜡石型青田石的宝石学特征和成玉机理展开讨论。Abstract: It is a controversial problem that the type assignment of the Qingtian Stone from Zhejiang Province belongs to the pyrophyllite-type or not.In order to solve this problem,some measurements such as X-ray powder diffraction analysis,infrared absorption spectrum ,scan electron microscope and differential thermal analysis are adopted.The results show that the main species of Qingtian Stone are pyrophyllite-type,but there also exist some species which are not pyrophyllite-type,such as dickite-type,illite-type,sericite-type and so on.In this paper,the gem features and mechanism of the Qingtian Stone are discussed.
