CURRENT DEVELOPMENT ON THE MODERN CUTTING OF DIAMOND

摘要: 简介对钻石原坯工艺分级的基本标准和分级方法。对钻石加工中设计标线、劈钻、据钻、车钻和磨钻等各工序的传统工艺特点和缺点进行了分析，并介绍现代钻石加工工艺及其设备方面的最新进展。Abstract: This paper discusses the methods and essential criteria in diamond classification according to the requirement of diamond manufacture, and then analyses the features and disadvantages of traditional technologies in the diamond processing, including the design marking, cleaving ，sawing, bruting, polishing of the rough diamond. The current development in the modern diamond manufacture and equipment is presented in the paper and the future developing trend of diamond cutting technologies is forecasted in the end.
