摘要: 中国拥有丰富的珍珠资源，养殖珍珠历史悠久。到 2 0世纪末中国已成为世界养殖珍珠大国。珍珠养殖主要集中在广东、广西、海南的海水珍珠养殖基地以及浙江、江苏的淡水珍珠养殖基地。浙江诸暨珍珠及江苏渭塘珍珠在世界淡水珍珠贸易中占有极其重要的地位。

Abstract: There is an abundant pearl resources in China, and China has a long history of pearl cultivation. In the end of 20th century, China has become a major country of pearl cultivation. Pearl cultivation in China mainly concentrates at seawater cultured pearl bases including Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan and fresh-water cultured pearl bases including Zhejiang and Jiangsu. Zhuji pearl from Zhejiang Province and Weitang pearl from Jiangsu Province play a key role in the global market of fresh-water cultured pearl.
