摘要:
在实地考察和分析前人资料的基础上,简要地介绍了海南蓬莱锆石的产出特征。采用常规的宝石学测试方法以及X射线荧光分析仪,对该地区锆石的物理、光学性质以及内含物特征和化学成分进行了研究,并初步探讨了其呈色机理。结果表明,该地区的锆石为高型锆石,多呈深浅不一的深褐色,以红棕色、紫红色为主,透明度较高,粒度较大;其主要化学成分为ZrO2和SiO2(占96.5%)。其呈色机理可由Fe,Mn,Ti等离子引起,也可由色心引起,还可由杂质离子、稀土元素和色心共同作用引起。最后对其热处理、切工及开采提出了建议。

Abstract:
The occurrence features of the zircon from Penglai,Hainan Province,are introduced in short on the basis of on-the-spot investigation of the author and the previous work of other researchers.The physical and optical properties,the inclusion characteristics and the chemical compositions are studied by using the conventional gemmological methods and X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy,and the colouration mechanism of the zircon is preliminarily discussed.The results show that the zircon is high-type one according to the physical properties,with dark brown of different shades,red brown and purple red in dominant;transparent and big grain.The main chemical compositions are ZrO2 and SiO2(96.5%).The colouration mechanism of the zircon is caused by impurity elements of iron,manganese,titanium,etc,or by colour centre,or by collective effects of impurity ion,rare earth elements and colour centre.Finally,some suggestions are put forward about the heat-treatment,cutting and exploitation of the zircon from Penglai.
