Current Miaozu’s Jewelry and Making Technology in Guizhou Province,China

摘要: 中国贵州苗族首饰在现今表现出一些新的特点。传统的白银首饰很多被白铜首饰替代,日常装饰首饰主要以塑料制或绢制的头花配以木质或金属制的梳子头饰为主。随着时代的发展,苗族银匠打制各种造型物品不仅为佩戴,也为悬挂或展示。苗族首饰制作工艺也不全是手工打制,由于制作材质的变化,“铸造”工艺已占有相当大的比重。

Abstract: The current Miaozu's jewelry of Guizhou Province shows some new characters.The traditional silver jewelry is replaced mostly by copper jewelry,and Miaozu's daily ornaments in hair are mainly made of plastic or silk spinning flower matched with wooden or metallic comb.Now Miaozu's crafts are made in various shaped object not only for wearing but also for hanging or showing.As the change of the jewelry material,a lot of current(Miaozu's) jewelry are not hand-made entirely,and the "casting" technology has been used widely in jewelry making.
