Gemmological Study on Jadeite Called“Yongchuliao”in Jewelry Trade

摘要: “永楚料”是近期我国翡翠批发市场上出现的一个新品种，对若干“永楚料”样品进行了常规宝石学测试及大型仪器测试。测试结果表明，“永楚料”样品的主要矿物组成是绿辉石，可含少量钠长石。“永楚料”的密度、折射率、结构等测试结果符合国家标准中所规定的翡翠鉴定特征，“永楚料”是一种绿辉石质翡翠。

Abstract: Recently,"Yongchuliao"as a new type of jadeite appeared in Chinese wholesale market.Several"Yongchuliao"samples were collected and a series of conventional gemmological tests and large equipment tests were conducted.The testing results show that the main mineral conponent of"Yongchuliao"samples is omphacite,or with a small amount of albite.The testing results of density,refractive index and structure of"Yongchuliao"accord with the requirements of national standards in the jadeite identification features.As a result,"Yongchuliao"is a kind of omphacitic jadeite.
