Application and Creative Practice of Laser Engraving Technology on Art Jewelry

摘要: 通过材料实验与创作实践探索了激光雕刻在当代艺术首饰中的应用及发展，介绍了激光雕刻技术的应用现状，并对不同材料(亚克力、瓦楞纸板、复印纸、手工纸、半透明牛皮纸、牛仔布等)进行激光雕刻。基于矢量图和位图的激光雕刻实验，激光雕刻技术的工艺特点有：(1)激光雕刻技术的效率高；(2)激光雕刻形成的图象色泽独特，颜色与雕刻材料的成分、结构有关；(3)激光矢量切割后的材料无需打磨或抛光；(4)矢量图比位图清晰。此外，还分析了激光雕刻技术作为艺术首饰创作手段的优势与艺术表现力，并运用激光雕刻技术对纸首饰进行创作实践。Abstract: In this paper, according to the creative practice of laser engraving on different materials and different image formats, the application and development of laser engraving techology on contemporary art jewelry were discussed.The craft characteristics of laser engraving technology were: (1) High efficiency; (2) The materials engraved by laser have unique colour effect, which are connected with the componet and stuctrue of materials; (3) The materials engraved by laser do not need polish; (4) In the laser engraving technology, the sharpness of vector images is higher than that of bitmaps. Finally, the advantages and artistic expressive force of laser engraving technology were also discussed. As a creative practice, jewelries made by paper were produced by using laser engraving technology.
