Research on Raman Spectra of Natural and Dyed Red Corals

  • 摘要: 通过对几种常见的天然和染色红珊瑚的拉曼光谱研究 ,发现不同产地的天然红珊瑚的颜色均起因于大致相同的特定成分的有机物。天然的白色珊瑚主要由方解石组成 ,有机物的质量分数较低 ;不同颜色的染色红珊瑚的拉曼光谱显示出不同的、特征的有机物成分 ,明显区别于天然红珊瑚的拉曼光谱。拉曼光谱测定是一种快速无损鉴定红色珊瑚的方法。
    Abstract: The Raman spectra of several kinds of natural and dyed red corals have been researched. It has been found that the red colour of natural corals resulted from a large amounts of characteristic organic materials. The white corals are mainly composed of calcite and a little amounts of organic material. The dyed corals with different red colours have another characteristic organic pigments Raman spectra, which are different from natural ones obviously. Therefore, the measurement of Raman spectrum of red coral provides an efficient and rapid method of identification of coral.
