Influence of Tibetan Buddhism on Tibetan Jewelry

摘要: 藏族首饰一直给人一种神秘感。与现代首饰不同,它不仅仅在于装饰,某些首饰更体现了藏族独特的宗教意识。从藏族首饰的材质、种类、造型及纹饰等不同方面探讨了藏传佛教对藏族首饰表现的影响,指出藏传佛教是藏族首饰表现的独有内涵。

Abstract: The Tibetan jewelry is always magic to us. Different from the modern jewelry, it is not only ornament, but also Buddhist object. This article inquires into the influence of the Tibetan Buddhism on Tibetan jewelry from the different aspects including material, variety, shape and decorative pattern, and indicates that the Tibetan Buddhism is the unique spirit contained in the Tibetan jewelry.
