Principle and Application of Kyropoulos Methodfor Growth of High Quality Sapphire

摘要: 简要叙述了世界上主要用于生长高质量蓝宝石晶体的生长技术如晶体提拉法、导模法和热交换法。详细介绍了泡生法生长高质量无色蓝宝石的原理、生长工艺和技术要点,讨论了高质量无色蓝宝石应用于衬底材料和发光二极管(LED)中的广泛前景。Abstract: The main growth techniques of high quality crystal all around the world are briefly introduced, such as crystal pulling method (the Czochralski method), edge-defined film-fed growth method and heat exchanger method. The growth principle,technics and points of Kyropoulos method for producing the high quality colourless sapphire crystal are introduced in detail. Furthermore, the wide and potential foreground of the high quality colourless sapphire applied in the field of substrates and LED is discussed.
