Discovery of Cymrite in Jadeite Jade Deposit of Myanma

  • 摘要: 铝硅钡石是缅甸帕敢翡翠矿床中新近发现的一种矿物。采用显微镜下观察,并配合X射线粉晶衍射、红外吸收光谱、电子探针等测试分析方法,对铝硅钡石的矿物学特征进行了初步研究。电子探针分析表明,样品中的主成分w(BaO)为35.11%~37.88%,w(Al2O3)为27.22%~29.33%,w(SiO2)为31.20%~33.57%。依据EPMA,TG,IR测试结果推测,帕敢翡翠矿区的铝硅钡石有无水、含部分水及含标准水3种类型,H2O为结构水。
    Abstract: Cymrite is a new discovered mineral in the jadeite jade deposit of Myanma. The mineralogical characteristics of the cymrite are studied initially by using microscope, X-ray powder diffraction, infrared spectrum and electron microprobe. Electron microprobe analysis shows that the main compositions in the sample are w(BaO): 35.11%~37.88%,w(Al2O3): 27.22%~29.33% and w(SiO2): 31.20%~33.57%. According to the results of EPMA, TG and IR analysis, there are three kinds of the cymrite. They are of waterless, part water-bearing and standard water-bearing. H2O is structure water.
