Comparision between Traditional and Modern Diamond-Making Techniques

摘要: 随着现代化钻石加工工具的引进,钻石的传统加工方法逐步被现代的加工方法所取代,但钻石的传统加工方法在钻石加工发展的历史上发挥过相当出色的作用。结合我国钻石现代化加工的现状,总结钻石的传统加工方法,着重比较两者的优缺点,进一步阐明两者对发展我国市场化钻石加工的影响。

Abstract: With the introduction of modern diamond-making tools，the traditional diamond-making technique has been gradually replaced by the modern one．However，in the history of the manufacture of diamonds，the traditional technique has had a great impact．The traditional diamond-making technique and the current situation in the manufacture of diamonds in China are reviewed，and the comparision between the advantages and disadvantages of the modern and traditional techniques is in focus．Based on the previous research，the influence they have had in developing the Chinese diamond-making market and the important role they have played in boosting the diamond-making industry in China are expounded．
