Study on Application of Mokume-Gane Technique

摘要: 木纹金属工艺是源于日本的一种特殊金属工艺,后经西方国家改进后运用于当代首饰制作与设计中。目前,国外已有一套较成熟的方法实施该工艺,但在国内的市场上尚未见到类似工艺完成的首饰制品。主要介绍了木纹金属工艺中所需材质的特性以及该工艺的基本过程和技法,结合笔者的操作经验,阐述了该工艺较关键的操作难点和技术细节,旨在使国内越来越多的业界人士了解木纹金属工艺及其材质。

Abstract: Mokume-gane technique is a special metal technique from Japan,and then improved by the west and used in the jewelry manufacturing industry.Now,there has a mature method to apply this technique at abroad.But in the domestic market no jewelry made by such technique comes out.The material characteristics which mokume-gane technique need and the basic process of the technique are mainly introduced in the paper.The key point and detail of the technique by the experience are discussed.Mokume-gane technique will be well known by more and more participant in this field,and the development of the contemporary jewelry design in China can be based on the improvement and innovation of the material and technique.
