工程教育专业认证体系下宝石及材料工艺学专业课程体系探究

The Curriculum System of the Gemmology and Materials Technology Major under the Engineering Education Professional Accreditation System

  • 摘要: 基于宝石及材料工艺学专业目前存在的课程内容繁多及涵盖领域过大,工程科学类课程深度有限,课程设置的相关性与兼容性较差以及交叉学科带来新的困境等普遍问题,本研究对工程教育专业认证背景下宝石及材料工艺学专业的课程体系与毕业要求的对应关系进行了探索。结果显示,宝石及材料工艺学专业建设需要根据所属材料类专业目录下的课程体系框架,构建以天然宝玉石材料、合成宝玉石材料及首饰贵金属材料为3条主线的课程体系,该体系能够突出课程设置的覆盖面与专业特色。围绕3条主线开设数学、自然科学、工程类课程以及专业类课程,能够实现对毕业要求的强支撑,后续的监督反馈与持续改进机制保障了课程改革的持续性,为材料类特设专业获得工程教育认证提供参考。

     

    Abstract: Based on the common problems existing in the major of gemmology and materials technology, this study explored the corresponding relationship between the curriculum system and graduation requirements of the major of gemmology and materials technology under the background of engineering education professional accreditation. The study indicated that the curriculum development of the major of gemmology and materials technology requires constructing a curriculum system based on the framework. This system should establish 3 main lines-natural gems and jade materials, synthetic gems and jade materials and precious metal materials, which can highlight both the coverage breadth and the professional characteristics of the curriculum. The mathematics, natural science, engineering courses and the other professional courses set up around the above 3 main lines can provide strong support for the achivement of graduation requirements, and the follow-up supervision feedback and continuous improvement mechanism ensure the sustainability of the curriculum reform, which can provide reference for specially designed majors of materials program to obtain engineering education accreditation.
