异常荧光无色钻石厘石的405 nm光致发光光谱特征

Spectral Characteristic of 405 nm Photoluminescence in Abnormally Fluorescent Colourless Melee Diamond

  • 摘要: 在钻石厘石检测中,合成钻石与天然钻石混用的情况一直存在。针对无色钻石厘石样品,NGTC深圳实验室采用超短波紫外光初筛其荧光和磷光特征,并针对非蓝白色荧光样品进一步开展405 nm激发光源条件下的光致发光光谱测试。结果表明,天然钻石厘石除了常见的蓝白色荧光外,还可能呈现黄色、红色、绿色或深蓝色荧光,少数天然钻石样品还可观察到磷光,其光致发光光谱常见415、503、496 nm和741 nm等处发光峰,部分样品还会出现与SiV-缺陷相关的737 nm处发光峰、与镍缺陷相关的发光峰,以及560 nm处荧光带;化子气相沉积法(CVD)合成钻石厘石通常表现出红色荧光,部分出现绿色、黄色或橙色荧光,其光致发光光谱常见468、737 nm处发光峰及其声子边带;高温高压(HPHT)合成钻石厘石则常表现为绿蓝色荧光和绿蓝色磷光,其光致发光光谱中常见与Ni缺陷相关的883 nm/884 nm处发光峰。

     

    Abstract: In the screening of melee diamonds, the mixing of synthetic and natural diamonds remains a persistent issue. For colourless melee diamond samples, the NGTC Shenzhen Laboratory conducted a preliminary screening based on fluorescence and phosphorescence characteristics under short-wave ultraviolet. For samples exhibiting non-blue fluorescence, photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy under 405 nm laser excitation was further performed. The results indicate that, in addition to the commonly observed blue fluorescence, natural melee diamonds may also display yellow, red, green, or deep blue fluorescence, and phosphorescence can be observed in a few natural samples. Their PL spectra commonly exhibit emission peaks at 415, 496, 503 nm, and 741 nm. Some samples also show emission peaks at 737 nm associated with SiV- defects, peaks related to nickel defects, and a fluorescence band around 560 nm. CVD-grown synthetic melee diamonds typically exhibit red fluorescence, with some showing green, yellow, or orange fluorescence. Their PL spectra are characterized by emission peaks at 468 nm and 737 nm, along with their respective phonon sidebands. HPHT-grown synthetic melee diamonds often exhibit green-blue fluorescence and phosphorescence, with PL spectra showing characteristic emission peaks at 883 nm and 884 nm associated with nickel-related defects.
