QUANTITATIVE DESCRIPTION OF GREEN JADEITE

  • It is quantitative determination for colour of jadeite with CIE-L*a*b* chromaticity diagram. The result by testing of instrument is just in accord with visual evaluation. The quantitative determination could represent some special colour vocabularies by traditional visual way for greenish jadeite, such as "unadulterated", "rich colour". It could be avoided colour difference by visual emotion.
