Research on Spectroscopy of Uvarovite from Eastern Tibet

  • The spectrum characteristics of uvarovite from the eastern Tibet, China, are investigated systematically using the EDS, XRD, TEM, UV-VI, IR and LRM. The reason of satuated green of the uvarovite is its higher colour saturation by analyzing its colour index. It indicates that uvarovite from the eastern Tibet is coexisted with quartz and calcite for discovering quartz, calcite and zircon in the uvarovite.
