LRM Spectrum Characteristic of Filled Glass in Heat-treatment Rubies

More Information
  • Received Date: October 14, 2001
  • The LRM spectrum characters of secondary glass-corpus in heat-treatment rubies are studied by means of LRM and EPMA. The research indicates that sodic alumianosilicate glass, Na-P-Al glass, B-Na-Al glass, aluminaosilicate glass can be present in heat-treatment rubies, and their characters including LRM, chemical composition, phase state and distribution can be considered as an important indicator for the identifying heat-treatment rubies.
