A New Synthetic Crystal Ornamental Stone

  • Mineral crystal is a kind of important ornamental stone. With the methods of electronic probe, X-ray powder diffraction and infrared spectrum, the mineral compositions, chemical and physical properties of a new synthetic crystal ornamental stone are preliminarilly studied. Its name and manufacture process are discussed. The results show that the synthetic crystal ornamental stone is tschermigite and is crystallized around a cement stick in supersaturated solution.
