4C Grading and New National Standard of Diamond as Viewed from Consumer

More Information
  • Received Date: August 26, 2003
  • Diamond is only one gemstone that can be valued by 4C standards. However, as viewed from consumer, they should differentiate what is primary from what is secondary when they seek 4C of diamond. The sequence from the primary to secondary is carat, colour, cut and clarity. New national standard is more perfect than the old, but there are some defects to be improved.
