  • The discussion about the name of nephrite is related to the mineralogy, the gemmology, the cultural economy and many other fields.The three basic principles of discussing and establishing the name of nephrite are argued from the three aspects which are the development of history, the progress of science and the fair of market in this paper, that is the principles beneficial to the scientific and technological progress, cultural continuity and fair competition.Last but not the least, it is considered that it is an un-avoid question in social development.
