  • This research is focused on how to effectively alleviate the currently unbalanced teacher-student ratio during the process of gemmological practice teaching,solve some problems in teaching,and eventually improve quality of teaching.In this paper,the authors designed the standard symbol of typical inclusions with the help of standardized marking methods about gem inclusions,selected appropriate samples and draw inclusion diagrams,produced "gem inclusions sample card",and used those sample cards in the teaching practice.Questinnaires from students show the "gem inclusions sample card" can clearly demonstrate types,relative position and size of gem inclusions.It's obviously useful in solution of various difficulties in practice teaching of gem inclusions,and it is also helpful for the improvement of students' study efficiency and autonomous learning ability.Therefore,the "gem inclusions sample card" has broad application prospect in gemmological practice teaching.
