  • The characteristics of the material compositions of Ziliao of green Hetian nephrite are studied by using the polarizing microscope,electron microprobe,X-ray powder diffraction,infrared spectrum and chemical composition analysis.The results show that the geological origin of green Hetian nephrite is alteration of ultrabasic rock.It is the same type with Manasi nephrite deposit.The proposal for strengthening to seek the raw deposit of green nephrite in Hetian district is put forward in this paper.
