  • There are some problems about the presentation of jewelry settings in the gem certifications,and the technical terms about jewelry settings in different publications are not unified because it is short of the standard about jewelry settings in Chinese jewelry industry.But it is very important to establish the standard in transferring the knowledge and setting skills,in deciding the substitutes of insured things and securities,in calculating the cost of setting jewelry,in changing the setting gems or not,and in repairing jewelry and keeping them in good state.It is very necessary to establish the standard about jewelry settings in order to promote the healthy development of the whole jewelry industy in China.
