  • The laser processing technology has been more widely applied to the jewelry industry.The basic characters and the typical applications of the technology in the jewelry industry are introduced.The technology is involved the fields of laser welding,laser rapid prototyping technology,laser marking,laser engraving and laser diamond cutting.The laser welding technology has the distinct advantages compared with the traditional welding technology.The rapid prototyping technology can consumedly shorten the processing period from prototype to finished products.The laser marking and engraving technologies supply the extra surface treatment methods to satisfy the jewelry individuation need.The laser technology applied in diamond cutting can guarantee the least wastage of rough diamond.The laser processing technology is playing the increasingly important roles in the jewelry manufacturing industry.
