This article uses infrared spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, ICP-MS/LA-ICP-MS, and isotope mass spectrometer to conduct testing and analysis of Henan Yiyuan serpentine jade from Henan Province, and explores the mechanism of its formation. Based on the analysis of the occurrence characteristics, main and trace element composition, and zircon 206Pb/238U age (849.2 ± 6.9 Ma) of the diabase cut from the Yiyuan serpentinite jade, We believes that the formation data of Yiyuan serpentinite jade come from Meiyaogou formation of Luanchuan Group is more than 850 Ma and is likely to be related to regional metamorphic processes.
