  • According to the calibration actuality, the main technical index and calculating methods, such as resolution, stability and accuracy, are discussed for the self-calibration of X-ray fluorescence spectrometer (XRF) in the precious metal and gem laboratory.The calculating results show that the lowest resolution of XRF is 250 eV and the stability index is better under 5‰ for the test of precious metal.The calibration methods could be the guidance to establish the calibration regulations and check and accept the XRF for jewelry testing organizations.
