  • With the methods of polarized microscope, electronic probe, X-ray power diffraction and infrared spectrum, the mineral compositions, chemical and physical properties of a new imitation of jadeite jade are systematically studied. Its unique properties different from jadeite jade are summarized, and finally its name, geological genesis and colouration are discussed
