  • "New economy" is an important concept proposed for the first time in the report of Chinese government in this year.It emphasized offering the industry with new impetus; promoting the transformation of China's economic upgrade; and mobilizing the enthusiasm of the entrepreneurship and innovation of hundreds of millions of people.In this process, it is the top priority in the local economic development to integrate the concept of innovation, coordination, green, open and sharing to establish a new policy framework for industry, and promote local industrial transformation and upgrading.Zhushan County of Shiyan City in Hubei Province is the most famous turquoise producing area in the world, where its reserves are the most concentrated.It has practical significance for upgrading the turquoise industry.In this paper, the status of turquoise industry from Zhushan County was analyzed.The concepts of green development, innovation and opening were proposed.It was suggested that Zhushan County should solve historical legacy mining problems, strengthen the top-level design of turquoise industry and promote industry transformation and upgrade through a variety of initiatives.
