Identification of Amber with Its Plastic Imitation by Magnification

  • There are many kinds of imitated-amber products in the jewelry market, which are difficult to identify.The inclusions and external characteristics of the amber with its plastic imitation samples are identified by magnification.The results show that there are many differences between the amber and the imitated-amber, such as the stripes in the milah and its imitation, the crack plate in the exploding-amber and its imitation, the plant branches in the plant amber and its imitation, the insects in the insect amber and its imitation.
