Abstract
With the deep integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and intelligent manufacturing technologies—both additive and subtractive—into the manufacturing sector, the traditional production paradigm of jewelry is undergoing a disruptive transformation. This study first reviews the latest advances in AI-driven design, AI-assisted modeling, 3D printing additive manufacturing, and laser engraving techniques, and analyzes the technical framework for their synergistic application. Through a series of representative case studies with images, this study illustrates the breakthroughs achieved through technological convergence in terms of product customization, microstructural precision, multi-material integration, and production efficiency. Finally, in light of the current state of jewelry education and talent development, this study proposes adjustments and upgrades in curriculum restructuring, interdisciplinary integrated teaching, and school-enterprise collaborative innovation, aiming to provide a reference for innovative practice and educational reform within jewelry production within the intelligent era.
