Abstract
In the context of the increasing number of Alzheimer's disease (AD) patients, this study investigates wearable device design for early-stage AD patients. Noting that current designs often overemphasize functionality but neglect aesthetics, we introduced the FEA model into the design process. By analyzing the existing wearables in terms of function, expression, and aesthetics, and based on the physiological and psychological needs of AD patients, this study aims to enhance aesthetic factors, foster a stronger emotional patient-product connection, and optimize design thinking, which may offer some new insights and directions for wearable design in this field.
