Application of Stable Diffusion Based Generative Artificial Intelligence in Jewelry Design with Intangible Cultural Heritage Element: A Case Study of Tie-Dye

  • This study aims to explore the application of generative artificial intelligence (AIGC) technology based on Stable Diffusion in integrating intangible cultural heritage elements into modern jewelry design. By analyzing the pattern types, constituent elements, and pattern composition methods of Bai ethnic tie-dye tablecloths in Dali, Yunnan Province, the core design keywords are extracted, a targeted training dataset is constructed, and the pre-training and parameter optimization of the model are completed from the results, followed by the implementation of a jewelry image generation experiment. The experimental results showed that AIGC technology can quickly generate a large number of jewelry design drawings that retain the constituent elements and style of tie-dye patterns to a certain extent. This study provided valuable insights for the further utilization of AIGC in developing intangible cultural heritage elements in jewelry design.
