A Study on the Integration Strategy of Intangible Cultural Heritage Resources and the Integration of Industry and Education Mode in Universities: Taking "Heqing Silver Forging Technique" as an Example

  • The silverware forging skills in Heqing, Yunnan Province is a Chinese traditional folk handicrafts and a distinctive national intangible cultural heritage. With the development of cultural and tourist industries in recent 20 years, great changes have been seen in the group of handicrafts men and the structure of local industries in Xinhua village, Heqing county, Yunnan province. In recent years, some colleges and universities in China are trying to use various patterns to bring Heqing's silverware forging skills into campus. As for industrial art major, product design major (jewelry design) etc., the methods of processing metal materials and designing artworks in the skills fit the needs of contents of these courses well. Intangible cultural heritage has become an important part of educational resources in higher education. According to the performance of various levels of learning in these workshops, the stable and close connection has been formed between colleges and universities offering related majors and silverware forging workshops in Xinhua village, Heqing county, Yunnan Province. In the context of the integration of production and education, this study analyzed the communication between higher education and intangible cultural heritage and discussed the fusion strategy and the contribution of heritage integration in higher education.
