  • Casting, a traditional craft with much strength in the creation of 3D objects, has provided great opportunities for art and craft. This paper introduces the definition and process of casting. With case study, this paper has uncovered the creative usage of casting in contemporary jewelry:the innovation in material and methods, and the conceptual consideration of casting. Author's art project Knotting Jewelry is also introduced in this paper.
