  • The 16th to 18th century is the golden age of development for amber craft in Europe.Amber masters created a series of beautiful and grand artworks by using kinds of craft techniques such as round, relief, intaglio and incrustation at that time.Especially, many small amber slices were pieced together for producing large, colourful and elaborate artworks by incrustation craft.The craft and characteristics of masterpieces could give us useful enlightenment for jade carving in China.
