  • Diamond is the most important gem. In recent years, the gemmological study of diamond has entered a new development stage. The great progress has been made in all aspects, such as diamond resource prospecting, enhancement and treatment, synthetic technology and non-destrutive identification. On the basis of reading a great deal of literatures, the new progress on gemmological study of diamond is elucidated from above-mentioned four aspects.
